EJari also provides commercial real estate services to the public, landlords and tenants. It offers the same function as residential services but with a few modifications. For example, it doesn't allow the public to list properties for sale or rent. It also doesn’t require registrations or signing of contracts.

Ejari is an electronic filing system for real estate transactions. It allows for the electronic exchange of documents between the parties. Ejari was created as a result of collaboration between the Sharjah Land Department and the electronic document management company, Cuadra. It is structured in such a way as to allow registered parties to communicate with each other electronically. This is done in a legal, secure, and reliable manner.

Documents required for Ejari:

  • Passport and Emirates ID Copies.
  • Bank Statement.
  • Copy of the Lease.
  • Name of the property owner.
  • Copy of the lease of the landlord and the tenant.
  • The upper of the property.
  • Copy of the title deed.
  • Certificate of residence at the address of the property.
  • Copy of the Emirates ID of the owner.

Process of Ejari:

The process is as follows: When the tenancy is over, the landlord goes to ejari office to get an official notification on the same. The official will charge him for the service, for which the landlord can object and ask for an invoice.
